What you can expect at Synthetis

As a project engineer, you will join the team specializing in the editing and integration of Fluxx, a software program for optimizing steel logistics. You will participate in exciting projects to develop and implement the solution, in Belgium and internationally, working closely with our industrial customers on the challenges they face:

  • Traceability and storage optimization
  • Generation of optimized movement proposals for bridge operators
  • Intelligent automatic control of bridges and all equipment used to move products
  • Management of truck access and their routing on site
  • Optimization of loading plans for shipments
  • Integration of automation solutions (sensors, controllers, etc.)

Your responsibilities

  • Participate in the technical and functional analysis of field requirements and the development of appropriate solutions.
  • Design, develop, and test new features to meet project requirements.
  • Adapt Fluxx to specific field requirements and participate in its implementation for our customers with the Project team.
  • Participate in discussions on the integration of new modules into the Fluxx solution, in collaboration with the R&D team.
  • Support and advise our clients over the long term, ensuring that the Fluxx solution always best meets their business needs.

The profile we are looking for

  • Optimizing staff scheduling according to each client’s unique constraints.
  • Managing scheduling conflicts.

Your Responsibilities

  • Write, organize, and execute test plans to ensure the quality of new features and bug fixes.
  • Collaborate daily with developers and the quality manager to improve the product and identify issues.
  • Actively participate in defining new features, drafting specifications, and the functional design of the software.
  • Develop in-depth functional knowledge of the solution through your involvement in projects and client requests.
  • Support and advise our PeopleForce consultants to ensure we always meet client needs as effectively as possible.
  • Improve, optimize costs, and maintain PeopleForce’s SaaS (Azure) architecture and deployment automation.
  • Set up test and pre-production environments on Azure.

The profile we are looking for

  • You are organized and meticulous. You’re not afraid of methodical testing.

  • You’re fluent in French and business English. Other languages? That’s a plus!
  • Having some familiarity with scripting and SQL query programming is also a plus.
  • The same goes for initial experience with Azure configuration.
